Events

The Chili Affair

The Chili Affair is the largest fundraising event for the shelter. Local chefs prepare and serve chili, as well as salads, breads and desserts. We have both a live and silent auction and live entertainment. Approximately 1,200 people attended this event last year which raised approximately $150,000. This year's event will be held on September 17 at the Salt Palace in exhibit hall 4. The event begins at 5:30 p.m. Individual tickets are $35.00 and a table for 8 is $300.000.

Volunteers are wanted to help with many aspects of this event. Interested individuals should contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Ashley Farmer at afarmer@theroadhome.org.
