The Road Home began operating out of a bus station in 1923. Since then, the agency has grown into a 24 hour per day 365 day per year operation with over 90 staff members and more than 5,000 volunteers each year.

We are rated as a four-star charity by Charity Navigator, receiving high marks in both organizational efficiency and capacity.

Approximately 65 percent of our revenue comes from private contributions comprised of individuals, foundations and other sources such as the United Way.

The remaining 35 percent consists of federal, state, county, and city funds.

We continually work to find and develop new funding sources while improving and expanding existing fundraising efforts.
