Shelter the Homeless Committee II has recently purchased the property located at 999 S. Main Street and has chosen The Road Home to operate the facility. This development will have approximately 201 studio, 1 & 2 bedroom affordable apartments for families and individuals emerging from homelessness.
Each apartment will be fully furnished as well as have individual kitchens and bathrooms. Laundry facilities and community spaces will be located throughout the building. The current design plans also include commercial and restaurant space which will be available to rent.
Supportive services will be available on-site to assist tenants in retaining their housing. The Road Home is excited to be able to provide more affordable housing options for single men and women as well as families in our community in the fall of 2008.
