The Road Home's mission:
To help people step out of homelessness
and back into our community.

Pathways Program

The Pathways Program began in August 2005, providing immediate and permanent supportive housing to 17 individuals who had been homeless for many years. These individuals were all intensive users of community resources, such as shelters, detox facilities, hospitals, jails, etc., and much research was done to quantify this cost to the community. This same research is being done while the individuals are in housing, to compare the cost to the community of providing housing first versus standard practice.

The documents below provide greater detail about this exciting program.
