The Road Home has adopted the following Contributor Information Privacy Policy to inform its contributors of the collection and retention of contributor information.
Contributors are requested to provide limited personal information to The Road Home. The primary purposes of this information are to allow The Road Home to complete contribution transactions, provide contributors with charitable gifting tax information and for donor recognition programs. The information is also retained in the financial records of The Road Home for financial recording and internal financial accounting control purposes.
The providing of information by contributors is completely voluntary.
To protect the confidentiality of the personal information The Road Home uses appropriate technical and internal control measures to limit access to and control the retention of the information to ensure its use and access is limited to the above noted purposes.
Personal information entrusted to The Road Home will not be communicated outside The Road Home unless authorized by the contributor. The Road Home does not sell or rent contributor information of any kind to outside parties.
Upon written request, contributors may be allowed access to their personal information and specify that the information be edited, or request the information not be retained.
The Road Home retains contributor personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes of this policy and to comply with federal and state record retention requirements.
