Naomi struggled with substance abuse and as a result, she lost her home. She enrolled herself into a local non-profit specializing in substance abuse treatment so she could create a better life for her family. Naomi was hopeful that she could overcome her addictions and find a safe place for herself and her family to live.
Naomi turned to The Road Home for help in finding an apartment. Working with The Road Home’s housing office she was able to get approved for a deposit package, which would provide the deposit for a new apartment and a few months rent. Naomi immediately began searching for an apartment. With the help from our agency’s housing locators, she soon found and was approved for an apartment. Naomi and her family quickly moved in.
Because of the housing assistance she received, Naomi was able to continue her substance abuse treatment, as well as look for employment. Naomi and her family are now happily living in their new home. She continues to work on her treatment and with her case managers from The Road Home to provide a better life for her family.
