Michelle, Eric, and their four daughters came to the Midvale Family Center, operated by The Road Home, after a family tragedy caused Michelle to lose her job. Eric had been struggling to work, due to an injury he had on the job years before. With both Michelle and Eric out of work they became homeless and turned to The Road Home for help.
Michelle and Eric had never faced homelessness before but as self-starters they took the situation in stride. Michelle and Eric worked with their case manager to get their oldest daughter into Head Start, and worked on getting Eric’s application for Social Security.
Because of their hard work, Michelle, Eric, and their daughters were able to move out quickly and are now living happily in their new home.
