April 16, 2017

KSL Reports that Utah’s taxpayers donated twice as much to homeless services as supporting education, according to the most recent report examining donations on tax returns in 2015.

“About 9,200 taxpayers made a donation in their 2015 tax returns, and the average donation was about $21.Of the eight donation categories, taxpayers donated the most money to fight homelessness, contributing about $70,000, while handing off about $35,000 for education.”- Hallie Golden, KSL News, April 16, 2017
